My Journey
I’m Samarth Bhalla
A professional with experience across software development, SAP Commerce Cloud, enterprise integrations, data architecture, and digital transformation.
School & College Years
My journey started with Java development during my school and college years.
Accenture
I began my professional career at Accenture, where I worked on SAP Commerce Cloud implementations and gained hands-on experience in enterprise delivery.
IBM
I later moved to IBM, where I worked on large-scale enterprise projects, from solution design to implementation, eventually taking on a Technical Lead role.
Nokia
Today, I work at Nokia as a Data Solutions Architect, focusing on:
– Enterprise data architecture
– Order-to-Cash (O2C) processes
– System integrations
– SAP S/4HANA Sales & Distribution (SD) and Materials Management (MM)
– Data transformation and modernisation programs
Beyond Technology
While my professional career evolved through software development, SAP, enterprise integrations, and data architecture, there has always been another side to my journey.
Growing up, I was drawn to creative expression—painting, music and visual design. In college, I spent time exploring graphic design, and today I continue that creative pursuit through videography and video editing.
At first glance, creativity and enterprise technology may seem like two very different worlds.
For me, they’ve always been connected.
Creativity taught me how to communicate ideas, simplify complexity, and see patterns that others might miss. It taught me that people learn faster through stories, visuals, and relatable examples than through jargon and technical diagrams alone.
That perspective eventually became the foundation of UnboxSAP.
Behind every system, process, architecture, or data model is a story waiting to be understood.
Why I Created UnboxSAP
Across my career, one pattern has remained consistent:
Most people don’t struggle because technology is complex.
They struggle because it’s explained poorly.
Enterprise systems are often buried under jargon, documentation, and fragmented explanations.
